Packaging and art direction for Jeff “Beachbum Berry’s line of barware in collaboration with Cocktail Kingdom.
Many of the products in this collection were manufactured at the height of the tiki era and had vanished from production until now. We brought the collection to life by incorporating typography and textures found in original tiki bars from menus to matchbooks. I took a similar approach with the photography by creating a tropical landscape to capture the escapist quality of the tiki culture.

Beachbum Berry’s Sippin’ Safari
After the success of his second book, Potions of the Caribbean, and with the ten year anniversary of his first book approaching, Beachbum knew it was time to republish Sippin’ Safari. In redesigning this tiki classic, we decided to keep the format the same as Potions, to make it the perfect companion piece and abandoned the soft cover for a vibrant hard cover. The interior saw new photos and recipes along with the addition of color coded section dividers.
