Third Eye Spirits was looking for a logo and label design for their new nutmeg liqueur, Pearl Street. Its name is derived from the nutmeg trade between the Dutch and the British in 1677, where the Dutch traded Manhattan for an Indonesian island that produced the world’s sole source of nutmeg, which at the time, was considered one of the most valuable commodities. We worked with them to develop a concept that felt mysterious and opulent, incorporating elements of alchemy with traditional botanical illustrations.
